Dr. Shreya Kasbekar
Naturopathic Doctor
Hello! I’m Dr. Shreya Kasbekar, ND, and I’m honored to be a part of the Ajax Family Physiotherapy & Chiropractic Sports Medicine Centre.
My passion for healthcare began in childhood, inspired by watching my physician parents provide care through an integrative approach. They skillfully blended conventional treatments with a strong emphasis on diet and lifestyle modifications—an approach that deeply resonated with me and sparked my own journey into the world of naturopathic medicine.
Growing up in this environment shaped me into an empathetic, considerate, and understanding individual. I’ve always been driven by a sincere desire to support others in becoming the healthiest, happiest version of themselves. As a naturopathic doctor, I strive to approach each person with compassion and kindness, serving as a guide while empowering them with the tools and education they need to heal from within.
In 2014, I immigrated to Canada from India and began pursuing my passion for medicine at Trent University, where I graduated with Honors in Biology and Psychology. I later completed my studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating in 2023.
My areas of interest include: • Gastrointestinal Health • Stress Management • Autoimmune Concerns • Sleep Concerns • Chronic Fatigue • Inflammatory Conditions • Weight Management • Hormone Balance • Pain Management • Fertility Care • And more!
To best support my patients, I integrate a variety of naturopathic modalities in practice, including nutritional and lifestyle counseling, acupuncture, botanical medicine, supplements, hydrotherapy, and bodywork techniques such as cupping and trigger point release.
Outside of work, I enjoy life’s simple pleasures—reading mystery novels, listening to music, and spending peaceful moments in nature, especially by beautiful lakes and the sea.
